A Seed-stage AI startup based in San Francisco, building autonomous agents for the freight brokerage and logistics industry. The company is developing AI-powered solutions to automate voice and email negotiations, load matching, document processing, fraud detection, and legacy system modernization.

Challenge

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to work directly with the founding team and take ownership of the entire product lifecycle, from identifying customer needs to implementation, deployment, and production observability.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building full-stack applications, integrating agentic workflows into the product, and working closely with customers to transform feedback into scalable, high-impact features.

Key responsibilities include:

• Build and maintain applications using React, Next.js, and Python.
• Design and integrate agentic workflows and LLM-powered systems into the product.
• Work directly with B2B customers to understand their needs and translate market signals into product features.
• Design and implement systems with a strong focus on observability and production monitoring.
• Participate in product, architecture, and technical roadmap decisions.
• Continuously deliver and iterate on production-ready features.

Must Have

• 5+ years of professional Full-Stack Software Engineering experience.
• Strong production experience with Python.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Deep understanding of LLM architectures and deploying foundation models in production environments.
• Experience building Generative AI applications.
• Strong knowledge of System Design and distributed systems architecture.
• Experience with streaming architectures and asynchronous processing.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or equivalent solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, Pipecat, or similar technologies.
• Experience building multi-agent systems or coordinating autonomous agents.
• Experience with voice systems or real-time applications.
• Previous experience as a Founding Engineer or at early-stage startups.
• Meaningful open-source contributions.
• Personal projects operating at significant scale.
• Experience with functional programming languages such as OCaml, Haskell, Scala, or Rust.
• Knowledge of hardware description languages such as VHDL or SystemVerilog.
• Participation in competitive programming competitions such as ICPC.
