Full-Stack Engineer

Compensation: USD $4,000–6,000/month

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to join a growing technology company building a decision-intelligence platform for the wealth management industry.

In this role, you will design and develop end-to-end product features across the frontend, backend, and infrastructure. You'll build scalable APIs, develop modern React applications, integrate third-party financial platforms, and collaborate with a distributed engineering team to deliver high-quality software used by financial advisors and wealth management firms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Django.
• Build responsive and modern user interfaces using React.
• Develop integrations with custodial platforms, CRM systems, and financial data providers.
• Design and optimize relational and non-relational database schemas.
• Perform code reviews across the full stack and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform performance and reliability.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity while maintaining high code quality.

Must Have

• 5+ years of professional experience building web applications and APIs with Django.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and React.
• 3+ years of experience with Redux or similar state management libraries.
• 2+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Fluent Spanish and professional working proficiency in English.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of the daily development workflow.
• Experience working on production software used by 1,000+ users or companies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Bootstrap or similar design systems.
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack and Babel.
• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Kibana, Grafana, or Sentry.
• Previous experience working at a product-focused software company.
