Senior Product Manager

Location: Remote (Based in Canada)

Employment Type: Independent Contractor

Compensation: USD $80,000–150,000/year


About the Opportunity


We're partnering with a fast-growing product and design company that builds AI-powered digital products and intelligent experiences for leading global brands.

This role is ideal for a strategic Product Manager who enjoys owning products end-to-end, leading cross-functional teams, and partnering directly with enterprise clients. You'll help shape AI-powered products while balancing product strategy, execution, and stakeholder management.


What You'll Do


  • Own product initiatives from discovery through launch.
  • Lead product strategy, roadmap definition, and execution.
  • Act as the primary client-facing Product Manager throughout engagements.
  • Translate business and user needs into product requirements.
  • Partner closely with design, research, and engineering teams.
  • Present product strategy and progress to executive stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and within scope.
  • Define KPIs, success metrics, user stories, and product documentation.
  • Help identify opportunities to leverage AI within products.


Must Have


  • 5+ years of Product Management experience building digital products.
  • Proven experience leading products from discovery through delivery.
  • Strong client-facing experience with executive (C-level) stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across Product, Design, and Engineering.
  • Strong product strategy and roadmap ownership.
  • Experience writing user stories, requirements, and defining KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience shipping products for external customers (B2B and/or B2C).


Nice to Have


  • Experience working on AI-powered products or intelligent systems.
  • Experience in product consulting, agencies, or client services environments.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and product innovation.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
  • Based in Canada.

Hiring Process


  1. Initial interview - Conducted by a Product Lead. 
  2. Product Assignment - Candidate completes a take-home assignment (5 business days). 
  3. Panel Interview - If the candidate passes the assignment stage, we’ll then schedule him for a panel interview with our product team. 
  4. Final interview & decision -  Optional final interview.
