About the Role

We are looking for a Snowflake Expert to join a high-impact international project focused on building a large-scale data platform. This role will support the Data Transformation and Cost Basis Calculation squads by designing, implementing, and optimizing Snowflake-based solutions for large volumes of transactional data.

You will work closely with Python engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions
• Collaborate with Python engineers to support data pipelines and calculation workflows
• Ensure high performance when processing millions of transactions
• Implement best practices for data modeling, storage, and partitioning
• Work with stakeholders to define data requirements and architecture decisions
• Support integration with ETL pipelines, Azure services, and reporting systems
• Maintain data security, governance, and compliance standards

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
• Strong experience in data modeling, transformations, and optimization
• Experience with ETL pipelines, batch processing, and large-scale datasets
• Solid understanding of SQL, Python, and data engineering concepts
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and advanced English (B2+/C1)
• Experience working in collaborative, distributed teams



Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databricks or other data processing frameworks
• Background in financial systems, taxation, or high-complexity data environments
• Previous experience in consulting or client-facing roles
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or similar)
