About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to join a high-impact international project focused on building a large-scale data platform. This initiative involves processing and analyzing millions of transactions, requiring strong technical leadership and a solid data engineering mindset.
You will lead a squad of engineers in a consulting environment, working closely with global stakeholders to design, build, and scale robust data solutions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality delivery
- Design and oversee scalable data processing solutions and pipelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Drive best practices in software engineering, testing, and code quality
- Contribute hands-on with Python development when needed
- Support architectural decisions around tools like Snowflake, Azure, and data frameworks
- Ensure performance and reliability when processing large-scale datasets
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with strong Python expertise
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer leading projects/teams
- Strong background in data processing, data pipelines, or data engineering
- Experience handling large volumes of data (batch processing, ETL, etc.)
- Solid understanding of software architecture and system design
- Strong experience with unit testing and code quality practices
- Excellent communication skills and advanced English
- Experience working in collaborative, distributed teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platforms
- Familiarity with Azure (especially containers or data services)
- Background in financial systems or high-complexity data environments
- Previous experience in consulting or client-facing roles
