Location: Remote (India, Spain, Pakistan, Ukraine, Portugal, Poland, Czech Republic, Bangladesh, Argentina, Mexico, Philippines, Colombia, Brazil, Indonesia, Romania, Italy)

Job Type: Full-Time Contract

Salary: $2,500 – $4,500 USD/month


About the Role

We are looking for a DevOps Automation Engineer to join a fast-growing, product-driven team building a high-scale global platform.

This role involves working with dual-cloud infrastructure (AWS + GCP), automation, CI/CD pipelines, security, and performance optimization. The platform is scaling to support millions of users across multiple regions, requiring strong experience in high-load environments, infrastructure reliability, and cost optimization.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership of production systems.


Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage infrastructure across AWS and Google Cloud Platform
  • Manage ECS Fargate deployments and containerized applications
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Automate infrastructure using Terraform (IaC)
  • Work with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) environments
  • Support multi-region and scalable architectures
  • Monitor performance using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
  • Implement auto-scaling and performance optimization strategies
  • Manage incident response and system reliability
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure costs (right-sizing, spot instances, etc.)
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment workflows


Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (ECS, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.)
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
  • Solid experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working with high-scale systems or high traffic environments
  • Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and incident response
  • Experience with database scaling or performance optimization
  • Understanding of Linux, networking, and security fundamentals
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely


Nice to Have

  • Experience with Kubernetes (EKS/GKE)
  • Experience with Cloudflare or CDN tools
  • Experience with cost optimization (FinOps mindset)
  • Experience in startup or fast-paced environments
  • Scripting skills (Bash, Python, or Go)
  • Experience supporting AI/ML infrastructure
