About the Role
We are hiring a Full-Stack Engineer with strong front-end depth to help scale a core platform and internal tooling. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning product features end-to-end, working across the stack, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
You will work directly with engineering leadership and contribute to both customer-facing experiences and internal systems.
What You'll Do
- Build and ship end-to-end product features across web applications and internal tools
- Develop and maintain front-end experiences using React and modern web technologies
- Contribute to backend services and APIs using Django or similar frameworks
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and operations teams to launch scalable features
- Improve application performance, reliability, and developer workflows
- Support deployment processes and CI/CD infrastructure
Must Have
- 3–5+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience with strong front-end depth
- Strong experience with React and modern front-end development practices
- Experience with Django or comparable backend frameworks (FastAPI, Rails, etc.)
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL, including performance optimization and database fundamentals
- Experience owning features end-to-end, from implementation through production
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, and business teams
- Based in San Francisco or Europe
Nice to Have
- Experience working on marketplaces, matching systems, or two-sided platforms
- Startup or early-stage company experience
- Experience with background jobs/task processing (e.g., Celery or similar)
- Familiarity with monorepos or multi-frontend environments
- Experience working on security-sensitive systems, authentication, payments, or PII handling
- Experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure
