About the Role

We are hiring a Staff Full Stack Engineer for a backend-leaning role focused on building and scaling a production fintech platform. You will work directly with engineering leadership and executive stakeholders to own major features and architectural decisions end-to-end.

This role is ideal for a highly technical engineer who enjoys hands-on development, system design, infrastructure ownership, and mentoring others while operating in a fast-paced startup environment.

You will contribute to building and scaling production systems that power critical customer workflows, payments, compliance, and reporting. The role combines backend engineering, infrastructure ownership, architectural decision-making, and hands-on product development in a collaborative startup environment.

Must Have

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of professional experience with Python and Django
• Professional experience building and consuming APIs
• Professional experience with React
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms

Nice to Have

• Experience with Redux
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Django REST Framework (DRF)
• Experience with Celery
• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with GitHub Actions
