About the Role

We are looking for experienced Python Engineers to join a high-impact international project focused on building a large-scale data platform. This role is dedicated to cost basis calculations and applying complex financial logic to millions of digital asset transactions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a consulting environment to deliver accurate, efficient, and scalable calculation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implement cost basis and tax calculation logic for digital assets in Python
• Apply complex business and financial rules to large datasets
• Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate rules into technical solutions
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance of calculation workflows
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with strong testing practices
• Support architectural decisions related to Snowflake, Azure, or other data frameworks

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Python development
• Strong experience in implementing financial or calculation logic at scale
• Familiarity with tools like Pandas, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
• Experience handling large volumes of data
• Strong experience with unit testing and code quality practices
• Excellent communication skills and advanced English (B2+/C1)
• Experience working in collaborative, distributed teams



Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure (containers, data services)
• Background in financial systems, taxation, or high-complexity calculation environments
• Previous experience in consulting or client-facing roles
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, or similar)
