Founding Product Engineer

Compensation: $150,000–$300,000 USD/year + 2%–4% equity

We’re partnering with a Series A AI startup building autonomous companies: AI agent systems that execute business operations end to end, from building applications to running campaigns, closing deals, and supporting customers.

The company has raised $28.5M, and its product is already deployed at 500+ companies. The team is building the platform that enables users to deploy and manage AI employees through a single interface.

About the Role

As a Founding Product Engineer, you’ll work directly with the founders to build the interface where users launch and operate autonomous companies.

This is a hands-on role combining full-stack engineering, UI/UX design, and product thinking. You’ll own features from customer research and prototyping through development, launch, and iteration. You’ll also help create the demos and launch content that bring those features to market.

What You’ll Do

• Build full-stack features that help users deploy, manage, and interact with AI agents.
• Design polished, intuitive interfaces that make complex agent systems easy to use.
• Own features end to end, from customer research and prototyping through production launch.
• Translate customer feedback and usage data into product improvements.
• Create demos, launch content, and campaigns for the features you ship.
• Maintain high standards for design, application performance, and delivery speed.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of software engineering experience. Tech Stack: Next.js, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills and hands-on UI/UX ability.
• Experience building and launching a product from zero to one.
• Practical experience building with LLMs and agentic systems.
• Strong product judgment, with attention to usability, visual details, and interaction design.
• Strong written communication and the ability to explain technical products clearly.
• Product-marketing instincts and an interest in driving adoption of what you build.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience as a founder or early engineer at a startup.
• Experience building developer tools or AI-native products.
• Familiarity with agent orchestration, Model Context Protocol (MCP), or SDK design.
• Experience producing product demos, launch videos, or technical content.
• Hands-on experience with Next.js, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI.
