About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer to help define, scale, and lead automation quality practices across complex backend services, real-time systems, and mobile applications.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in deep backend testing and automation, enjoys breaking down and validating distributed architectures, and wants to work closely with engineering teams in a modern, AI-enabled development culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep backend testing initiatives, designing and executing robust automation strategies for complex distributed systems.
• Build, scale, and maintain automated test suites for backend services and mobile applications.
• Test serverless and event-driven architectures, validating asynchronous workflows, messaging queues, and data streams.
• Implement and maintain comprehensive API contract testing across REST, GraphQL, and real-time streaming systems.
• Develop and improve mobile E2E automation framework components.
• Ensure absolute reliability of payment processing, financial transactions, and ledger systems.
• Integrate automated testing seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines to eliminate regressions and boost release velocity.
• Leverage advanced AI tools to increase automation efficiency, debugging speed, and overall QA productivity.

Requirements

Must-Have

• 7+ years of QA Engineering experience, with a strong focus on automation.

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript-based automation.

• Experience testing Kafka-based event-driven systems and asynchronous workflows.

• Proven experience testing financial products, payments, fintech platforms, digital wallets, or transaction systems.

• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.



Nice to Have

• Experience with API contract testing (REST, GraphQL, PactumJS, Jest).

• Experience with serverless architectures and distributed systems.

• Mobile E2E automation experience.

• Hands-on experience with Maestro or Detox.

• Familiarity with blockchain transactions, stablecoins, or crypto payment rails.

• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor, AI-powered IDEs, etc.).

• Strong communication skills and an engineering mindset focused on reliability and quality.
