About the Company
The company is a matchmaker that talks to users and supports them like a friend. The mission is to empower humanity by applying general intelligence to human connection. Users join by telling the Al voice agent their life story. On average, new users talk to the agent for 27 minutes, giving the team a uniquely intimate context.
The team comes from Uber, Uber Eats, Afterpay, and Cash App, and the company is backed by Eurie Kim and Kirsten Green at Forerunner Ventures (the investors behind Decagon, Faire, and Oura), NFX, and PearVC.
About the Role
We are hiring a QA Engineer to be the caretaker of the mobile experience. Here, quality is not an afterthought; it is the product. The team strives to be the Apple of dating, and QA ensures every interaction feels polished, reliable, and distinctly human.
This is a product-led, user-obsessed company, and the QA hire is the last line of defense before anything less than exceptional reaches users. Because the mobile app is reactive and the interaction surface is voice-led, edge cases compound quickly; a strong QA engineer who can build automated coverage and catch regressions before users do is the bar.
What You'll Own
- Own end-to-end QA for the React Native mobile app
- Build and evolve automated testing frameworks for mobile, reducing the manual cycle on the engineering team
- Run regression sweeps and edge-case investigation across consumer flows on iOS and Android
- Test the voice agent integration paths where reactive UX meets unpredictable user input
- Own pre-release verification on every build, partnering directly with engineering on diagnosis and reproduction
- Catch pixel-perfect polish issues before users do
Must-Have
- Deep experience testing React Native consumer mobile apps in production.
- Built or significantly extended automated testing frameworks for mobile.
- Obsessive attention to edge cases, regressions, and pixel-perfect polish.
- Great detail orientation. Catches what others miss.
- Real production experience, not internal tooling, dev shops, or consultancy work alone.
Nice-to-Have
- Prior QA work at Meta, Spotify, or comparable heart-of-consumer-app companies
- Familiarity with voice or audio-first consumer products
- Experience working as a contractor with US-based product teams
- Comfort with reactive mobile architectures and the regressions they introduce
- Strong written communication for async-first reporting
